RSPCA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)

The RSPCA's vision is to work for a world in which all humans respect and live in harmony with all other members of the animal kingdom. Since its humble beginning in 1824 - as the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - the RSPCA has worked tirelessly to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals. The Society's vision is to work for a world in which all humans respect and live in harmony with all other members of the animal kingdom. As a charity the society will, by all lawful means, prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of animals.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)

The worlds largest animal rights organization with more than 2 million members and supporters worldwide. PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs. PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.

ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)

The ASPCA was founded in 1866 as the first humane organization in the Western Hemisphere. The Society was formed to alleviate the injustices animals faced then, and continue to battle cruelty today. Whether it’s saving a pet who has been accidentally injured, fighting to pass humane laws, rescuing animals from abuse or sharing resources with shelters across the country, the ASPCA work toward the day in which no animal will live in pain or fear.
